Growing up in Casey and living here all my life, I have loved and enjoyed music. In high school, I was involved in drama, choirs, special ensembles, and just loved to sing. I attended college at Eastern Illinois University. During the summer of 1970, I accepted Christ, was baptized, and married Jana, my high school sweetheart. I graduated in 1972 with a BA and BS in Education. Since that time I have had the privilege of leading worship at Casey First Baptist whenever the church has had a need.

Jana and I have three adult children and seven grandchildren. To them I am Opa and Jana is Oma. All of my life, I have enjoyed long hours, hard work, and living a life full of fun and joy. I love to joke with friends and family. Through the years, I have filled church jobs such as teaching, deacon, and, of course, being the “lawn mowing guy.”

I have had the opportunity to serve the Lord in music at Casey First Baptist, and lead in revivals and associational music. Now being retired, I enjoy the time to do odd jobs for family and friends and spend the winters in Florida. We’d be excited to have you worship with us Sunday.
